General Website Information

The information provided on this website is for general informational, educational, and product reference purposes only. We make reasonable efforts to keep product descriptions, product photos, fitment information, pricing, availability, specifications, installation notes, and other website content accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all information on this website is complete, current, accurate, or free from errors at all times.

Flatirons Overland reserves the right to correct errors, update product information, change pricing, modify availability, revise website content, or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.

Product images, lifestyle photos, installation examples, vehicle examples, camper examples, and product use examples are provided for general reference only. Actual product appearance, fitment, color, dimensions, materials, hardware, packaging, or configuration may vary.

Product Use and Customer Responsibility

Flatirons Overland products are designed for vehicle organization, camper organization, outdoor travel, camping, overland use, gear storage, and general utility applications. Customers are responsible for using all products safely, correctly, and within the limitations of their vehicle, camper, mounting surface, gear, and intended use.

Customers are responsible for inspecting all products before use and periodically during use. Do not use any product that appears damaged, excessively worn, improperly installed, overloaded, or unsafe.

Products should not be installed or used in any way that interferes with vehicle operation, visibility, driver control, airbags, seatbelts, child safety seats, doors, latches, windows, mirrors, emergency exits, factory safety systems, or any other safety related vehicle function.

Customers are solely responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for their specific vehicle, camper, gear setup, installation method, and intended use.

Installation Disclaimer

Some Flatirons Overland products may require customer installation, surface preparation, adhesive application, hook and loop attachment, drilling, rivets, fasteners, hardware, straps, tensioning, trimming, adjustment, or other installation methods.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all product information before installation and for using proper tools, safe work practices, suitable hardware, and appropriate installation methods.

Flatirons Overland is not responsible for damage, failure, injury, loss, or other issues caused by improper installation, incorrect hardware, poor surface preparation, product modification, misuse, overloading, unsuitable mounting surfaces, failure to inspect the product, or failure to install the product in a safe and appropriate manner.

If you are unsure whether a product can be safely installed in your vehicle, camper, or application, consult a qualified professional before installation.

Fitment and Compatibility

Flatirons Overland may provide fitment information, vehicle references, camper references, measurements, compatibility notes, and installation examples to help customers choose the right product. This information is provided as a guide only.

Vehicle, camper, and accessory designs may vary based on model year, trim level, production changes, factory options, aftermarket modifications, prior installations, previous repairs, and individual setup. Because of these variables, fitment information should not be treated as an absolute guarantee unless expressly stated in writing by Flatirons Overland.

Customers are responsible for confirming that a product will fit their specific vehicle, camper, mounting location, gear setup, and intended use before purchase and installation.

Outdoor, Camping, and Vehicle Based Travel Risks

Camping, off road travel, overlanding, vehicle based adventure, trail use, remote travel, and outdoor recreation involve inherent risks. These risks may include changing weather, rough terrain, vehicle damage, equipment failure, poor road conditions, remote locations, limited communication, wildlife, environmental hazards, physical injury, and other unpredictable conditions.

Customers are responsible for their own safety, trip planning, route selection, vehicle preparation, gear selection, product use, driving decisions, and emergency preparedness.

Flatirons Overland is not responsible for injury, death, vehicle damage, property damage, lost gear, travel delays, recovery costs, towing costs, environmental exposure, or other losses related to outdoor activities, vehicle travel, camping, off road use, trail use, or the use or misuse of our products.

Load Limits and Securement

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any product used for storage, organization, mounting, hanging, or transport is not overloaded and is properly secured before driving or use.

Do not exceed the practical limits of the product, mounting surface, fasteners, hook and loop attachment, straps, adhesive, fabric, stitching, or any related component. Loads may shift during driving, braking, cornering, trail use, rough roads, or off road conditions.

Flatirons Overland is not responsible for product failure, property damage, vehicle damage, injury, or lost items caused by overloading, improper securement, improper installation, poor mounting surface condition, or use in conditions beyond the intended purpose of the product.

Product Modification

Any modification, alteration, repair, cutting, sewing, drilling, trimming, reshaping, or other change made to a Flatirons Overland product is done at the customer’s own risk.

Modifying a product may affect its fit, function, strength, durability, safety, warranty eligibility, and intended use. Flatirons Overland is not responsible for damage, injury, failure, or loss caused by modified products.

No Professional Advice

The content on this website, including product descriptions, blog posts, installation notes, videos, guides, recommendations, and educational materials, is not professional legal, mechanical, engineering, safety, recovery, electrical, medical, or vehicle modification advice.

Customers should consult qualified professionals when needed, especially for vehicle modifications, structural mounting, electrical work, safety critical installations, recovery equipment, or any application where improper use or installation could create risk.

Flatirons Overland may reference third party vehicles, campers, accessories, manufacturers, brands, or products for compatibility, fitment, comparison, or installation context. All third party names, trademarks, logos, and product names are the property of their respective owners.

Shipping, Delivery, and Carrier Responsibility

Shipping and delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Processing times, carrier pickup times, tracking updates, transit times, customs processing, weather delays, holidays, high order volume, supply chain issues, and other factors may affect delivery.

Once a package has been transferred to a shipping carrier, the carrier is responsible for transit, tracking scans, and final delivery. Flatirons Overland is not responsible for carrier delays, missed delivery estimates, lost packages, stolen packages, incorrect delivery scans, weather delays, customs delays, or delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
